Experience and area of expertise: 
Mark has been in the insurance industry since 1993. Prior to this industry, he was a city administrator and had more than14 years of municipal management experience. Because he has been a buyer of insurance and related products, he has a unique background from which to assist his customers.

Mark has also been a presenter, panel member and advisor in insurance and risk management in many different forums. He has made presentations before the Minnesota Public Risk Management Association, The Minnesota Association of Cable Television Administrators, The Minnesota City Attorneys Association, Graduate Finance Classes at Mankato State University, Small Business Classes at Normandale Community College and the North American Association of Inventory Services.

He is an active member of a number of professional associations and serves as the Chapter Advisor for the Minnesota Chapter of the Public Risk Managers Association, Past-President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Greater St. Paul and is on the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers-Board of Directors.
