Personal Automobile Insurance

Auto insurance means protection; it means peace of mind. Your auto coverage is important and so is finding the right coverage for you and your family. An auto insurance policy is a contract between you and an insurance company. You pay the premium and in return, the insurer agrees to pay for any car-related losses detailed in the policy. Most states require all drivers have an auto insurance policy or the ability to provide evidence you have the financial resources to pay for injuries or damages.

Bearence can help you find the right carrier and program that is best for you. We can answer your questions and provide personal service when you need us.

Are your liability limits adequate?

Is your personal injury protection (PIP) coverage stacked if applicable?

Stacked PIP essentially allows you to combine the coverage from each car in the case of an accident involving one of them. PIP stacking is not automatic.

Does your policy provide coverage for a leased car?

How much rental reimbursement does your current policy offer in the event you need to rent a car due to a covered loss?

Are you receiving all applicable credits on your automobile policy?

Examples include, but are not limited to multi-policy discounts, good student discount, away at school without a car discount, college education discount and defensive driving discount.

Recreational Vehicles

Bearence has a market for your motorcycles, RV’s, motor homes, ATV’s, watercraft, personal watercraft and snowmobiles.

Umbrella Liability

An umbrella provides additional coverage above and beyond the limits of your existing insurance. An umbrella policy may also provide coverage for other types of claims that underlying policies may not cover. You will want to ask yourself these important questions:

Does your current policy provide enough excel liability in the event your primary policy limits are exhausted?

Are all of your exposures covered under the umbrella liability policy?

Is there a gap in coverage between your primary liability and umbrella policy?

Most carriers have specific underlying liability requirements.

If I am personally sued, do I have enough coverage?

Does your policy provide excess uninsured motorist /underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) coverage?
